When we decided to strengthen our team, I knew we were not only looking for skills, but above all for people who would fit our way of working, our culture and our way of thinking. And that is always the hardest part.
I am very glad I came across Philip Brooch, who handled the whole thing with a combination of calm, perspective and humour. He did not just send us CVs. He listened, asked the right questions and understood who we were looking for and who we definitely were not looking for. And when the candidates arrived for interviews, I had that feeling: “Yes, this makes sense.” Philip's work was not just about selecting CVs. He handled sourcing, outreach and pre-selection, worked with us on interviews and case studies, and also took an active part in the follow-up steps before new colleagues joined us, and even after they started.
Today, new colleagues are sitting on our team whom I could not have chosen better myself. In my view, this is exactly what a partnership between a company and a headhunter should look like.
